As a member of the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, there are many benefits for you to take advantage of. Group health insurance, dental insurance, complimentary use of the Chamber’s Community Room, complimentary Notary Public services, and certificates of origin are just the beginning. When you become a member of the East Bay Chamber of Commerce, you automatically become a member of the US Chamber as well. This means you get exclusive discounts from companies like Monster.com, Yellow Transportation, and FedEx.
The East Bay Chamber of Commerce maintains partnerships with several other organizations in the community. As a member, you benefit from our cooperation with the East Bay Chamber Foundation, Mt. Hope Economic Development Corporation, Bristol/Warren Regional School District, RI Small Business Development Center, RI Chambers Health Care Coalition, RI Economic Development Corporation, RI Chambers Legislative Coalition, Workforce Partnerships of Greater RI, U.S. Small Business Administration, U.S. Chamber of
Commerce, Roger Williams University, Roger Williams University’s Gabelli School of Business and Johnson & Wales University. As a member, you also have affordable access to a list of other members, available in electronic and mailing label form.
Many marketing opportunities exist for Chamber members. Only members have the privilege of submitting their flyers for insertion in our quarterly Flyer mailing. This is optimum exposure for your business as other flyers of interest to members, including the Member-2-Member participant list, are amongst the inserts. One of the most valuable advantages you get over non-members is our member-only referrals. This means that the Chamber will refer potential customers to members of the Chamber only. Only Chamber business
will be recommended to anyone inquiring as to where to find a certain service in the area.
The East Bay Chamber of Commerce holds many events that serve as networking opportunities for our members. Our monthly Business 2 Business Networking events are routinely attended by 60 or more members and their guests. Special projects the Chamber is involved in often require the help of committees, offering unique chances for community involvement and interaction with other business owners and representatives in the area. The Chamber is also host to special events throughout the year, such as themed fundraisers,
breakfast meetings, our Annual Awards Dinner, and our annual Holiday Celebration.
