13th Annual Cornerstone Golf Classic

Event Description:
On Monday, August 2, 2010, the 13th Annual Cornerstone Golf Classic will be held at the beautiful Foster Country Club, Foster, Rhode Island. 120 golfers are expected to tee off with a shot-gun start at 10:00 a.m. The scramble format tournament will include a Hole-in-One contest, a treasure chest hunt and contests for closest to the pin, longest drive and putting competition. The day of golf will be followed by a dinner and live auction. Patrick Little, Anchor for Eyewitness News This Morning on WPRI and Fox Providence and co-host of the Rhode Shows is this year’s Honorary Chair. The committee, co-chaired by Joe Baris of Rebound Physical Therapy and AJ Brown of AJ’s Restaurant, includes D. Patricia Koch, Koch Eye Associates, Cindy Joaquin, Centreville Bank, and Matt Trimble, Saint Elizabeth Community. Entry fee is $125.00 per person and includes golf, cart, refreshments and dinner. Corporate sponsorships are available starting at $600 and include many marketing opportunities and golf for four. Registration deadline is August 1, 2010. Cornerstone Adult Services, Inc., is a leader and innovator in providing supervised adult day services for frail elderly, adults with disabilities and those with Alzheimer’s disease, Parkinson’s disease and Multiple Sclerosis. Centers are located in Warwick, Coventry and Bristol. Proceeds from this event will enable Cornerstone assist elders who are able to live at home but require supportive services during the day.
