National Labor Relations Board Update |
|
|
National Labor Relations Board Update The National Labor Relations Board issued a Final Rule recently that will require employers to notify employees of National Labor Relations Act provisions. Your Chamber Coalition and US Chamber of Commerce strongly object to the new ruling outlined via the below links. We submitted comments to the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) objecting to the proposed rule. Because the ruling has now been issued and will become effective on April 30th, the Chamber Coalition is bringing this update (as presented by the National Labor Relations Board) to our members as a public service. The ruling applies to any business governed by the National Labor Relations Act. (Virtually all Chamber Coalition members.) The links below will connect you to the NLRB ruling announcement, a fact sheet and the rule itself. If you have any questions regarding the ruling, please contact David Carlin, Vice President of Government Affairs for the Northern RI Chamber of Commerce, at (401) 334-1000 ext. 107 or by email at dcarlin@nrichamber.com Please note that the Chamber Coalition will be advocating for Congressional repeal of this unwise policy decision.
