Event Description:
Blithewold invites you beyond the garden gate to tour some of the area’s most charming properties. As part of a small and informal group, discover each garden’s story and distinct collection of plants. See the landscape through the eyes of the owner or professional designer and come away with new ideas and a fresh perspective. Each Intimate Garden Tour is unique, but all afford the opportunity to explore and ask questions. Light refreshments will be available at each tour.

An Intimate Garden Tour: Sakonnet Orchard – Portsmouth, RI
Thursday, June 14, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
The tour will be led by Kristyn Woodland of T.J. Brown Landscaping. Individual highlights of this exquisite property include: a ten acres property gorgeous views of the Sakonnet River, a large apple orchard leading to the house and gardens, an original farmhouse, a waterfall garden, a shade and fern grotto, several perennial borders, and an abundance of specimen trees.
