There are a plethora of schools to choose from in the East Bay area. There is a public high school in Barrington and one for Warren and Bristol; a Christian academy in Barrington; three Catholic middle and high schools in Warren, Bristol, and Barrington; a boarding school in Barrington; and several elementary and middle schools in all three towns. Warren is also home to the East Bay Educational Collaborative, a school dedicated to furthering learning at any age.
At the southernmost end of the East Bay, in Bristol, you will find Roger Williams University. This four-year University is known for its beautiful bayside campus. It is an independent co-educational university of liberal arts and selected professional programs accredited by the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. A continuing education division, with classes in Bristol and Providence, offers most degree programs to adult learners on a part-time basis, and academic credit is also available for life,
work or military experience. Independent study programs are also offered through the continuing education division. A cooperative education program permits students to alternate a semester of classroom work with a semester of paid employment.
